Wine fridge rental
Wine refrigerators can be found all over the world, and there are a few things you need to know before you sign up.
If you’re a wine lover, the basics of how to use them are in this guide.
When you can have wine in your fridge, you should: The first rule of a wine fridge is never have it in the room where you want it.
“There’s no reason to keep wine in a fridge,” says Dr Paul Nunn, a wine expert and author of Wine: The Science and Art of Living Well.
If it’s in your home, you can use it in a cupboard or in a room with a small fridge (though the latter may require special tools).
“Wine has a high concentration of oxygen, so it will lose its flavour and taste if it’s not kept in a well-ventilated space.”
The second rule is to keep it away from kids.
The older they get, the more likely they are to break it down and start making alcohol.
“If a child is sitting in the fridge with it, it’s a bad idea to keep the wine in the cupboard because it can ruin the flavour,” Nunn says.
You don’t have to worry about your wine freezing.
If your fridge is a big one, it won’t be able to keep up with demand for wine in supermarkets and restaurants.
But a small wine fridge will do the trick.
“The wine that comes out of a fridge will be very low in sugar, so you can save on the carbonation,” says Nunn.
A small fridge can keep up to 1.5 litres of wine (about four bottles) at a time.
Don’t throw away the wine you love.
“When you buy wine, it has to go through the process of fermentation,” says Margo Anderson, a consumer expert at the consumer group Wine Promotion Australia.
“This is done in a glass jug and it’s then transferred to a jar or bottle.
So if it doesn’t taste right, it can spoil.”
To make sure you get the best possible quality of wine, you need an experienced wine buyer.
You should be able do some research before you buy, and find a wine seller that’s well versed in their product.
The biggest mistake you can make is buying a bottle with an open lid, as that could be causing the bottle to dry out.
“For wine, the best way to store it is in a cool, dark place,” Anderson says.
“You can store wine in an airtight container or in your refrigerator for a longer period of time.”
The best way of keeping your wine in good condition is to buy a storage box.
“In Australia, the Australian Wine Retailers Association says the best storage boxes are usually two liters in size,” says Anderson.
“So you can get a storage container with a lid that is 3.5 cm (1.5 inches) high and 1.4 cm (0.5 inch) wide.”
The box should have a drawstring or mesh, a lid with a hole and a top.
If not, the container should be left on the counter for a few hours.
You can store your wine inside a wine refrigerator for up to 12 months.
This is especially true for red wines, which tend to retain more of their flavour.
“I think this is where people underestimate how much storage space wine has,” Anderson explains.
“Wines are more likely to deteriorate over time if they are left on a shelf.”
It’s best to keep your wine warm before storing it.
When buying a wine from a store, it is important to note that a fridge is an extension of your kitchen.
“It’s better to store your favourite wine in that fridge than it is to have it on the stove,” says Chris O’Keefe, author of The Wine Kitchen.
“And that means you’ll be able enjoy a bit more of your wine later on in the day.”
The best time to store wine is when it’s hot, so keep the fridge at least 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit) and the bottle at a temperature of around 35 to 40 degrees Celsius.
Don´t forget to add a bottle of red wine when you get home.
“A bottle of wine with no ice can have a very strong flavour and is a good way to preserve it,” says O’Keefe.
“But you can’t go wrong with red wine.”
Wine storage is best kept in the refrigerator, where the temperature is between 32 and 38 degrees Celsius, according to the Australian National University.
This keeps the wine at a good temperature and reduces the amount of oxygen it has.
It´s best to store the wine inside the bottle rather than the jar.
“One of the big mistakes that consumers make is thinking they have to use a jar,” Anderson warns.
“However, a jar doesn’t have any air in it, so the
