Which refrigerators are the best in Canada?
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says it has identified four refrigerators that should be replaced because they have been causing foodborne illness in the U.S. market.
The agency’s inspectors said the refrigerators have been found to contain bacteria and viruses that cause severe illness and can cause serious illness in people who consume them.
The refrigerators were found to be the subject of two recall notices that were issued in August and September.
One of the recalls was issued to a manufacturer in Nova Scotia that sold refrigerators to customers in the United States.
The other recalls were issued to manufacturers in Ontario and Quebec.
The Canadian government said in a statement that the refrigerator brands were identified by the agency because they are known to be susceptible to contamination.
It said the brands were not identified because the company has been manufacturing the products for at least 15 years.
“These four refrigerator models are not new refrigerators.
They have been sold for more than 30 years and have been the subject, in part, of numerous recalls,” the statement said.
It added that the affected manufacturers have been voluntarily recalling their refrigerators, but that it is the government’s responsibility to ensure that all Canadians are protected from foodborne illnesses and injuries.
